Clothing for Sjögren's Syndrome
Sjögren's is best known for dry eyes and dry mouth, but fatigue, joint pain, and — for some — light sensitivity and skin dryness come along with it. Clothing can't fix dryness, but it can stop making a hard day harder.
This page is educational, not medical advice. For the reasoning behind UPF ratings and fabric choices, see the Sun & Skin Guide.
What to look for
-
Full-coverage UV eyewear. Dry, light-sensitive eyes benefit from wraparound protection, not just front-facing sunglasses.
-
Breathable, tag-free fabric. Dry, sensitive skin reacts to the same rough seams and synthetic blends that bother other autoimmune skin conditions.
-
Low-effort on fatigued days. Chronic fatigue is one of the most underrated parts of Sjögren's — easy-on pieces matter even without joint involvement.
We're just getting started here. Most of our catalog so far was built around sun protection and seam-free skin needs, so this list is shorter than our others — it doesn't yet cover Sjögren's-specific needs like eye masks or hydrating accessories. If there's something specific that's helped you, tell us and we'll look into adding it.
